Celebrate 100 years of the Liver Birds and Museum Opening with Matou!
At riverside restaurant Matou you will have a ringside seat during fabulous celebrations at the Pier Head this July.
‘On the Waterfront’ marks the opening of the new Museum of Liverpool – as well as the centenary of the Liver Buildings.
From Matou’s rooftop pan Asian restaurant located above the ferry terminal, you will be at the centre of events. From 22 to 24 July, a 3D Son et Lumiere display of images will be projected onto the Liverpool Building, celebrating our great city’s past, present and future.

Matou First Birthday Celebrations
To celebrate our 1st birthday, we are teaming up with Radio City for a charity afternoon on Sunday 22nd May with all proceeds going to Radio City’s Cash For Kids charity.
The event will take place between 2.00pm and 6.30pm with live entertainment, children’s activities and a delicious buffet. The afternoon will be hosted by Radio City DJ Rick Vaughan and will be a fantastic day out for you and your family.
A special half price offer is available, with tickets to the value of £20 available at £10 for adults, £5 for children under 12 years with under fives eating free (please e-mail cashforkids@radiocity.co.uk with the number of under fives in your party).

King Kenny spends an evening at Matou
Liverpool legend and current manger Kenny Dalglish treated himself and his family to a pre-concert dinner at Matou on Monday.
Kenny, his wife Marina and mother-in-law enjoyed some fabulous food before the Boyzone concert at the Echo Arena.

Merseyrail Charity Event a Huge Success at Matou!
Matou hosted a fantastic charity event on behalf of Merseyrail last month, raising £110,000 for local charities.
Over 250 attendees, including local councillors and business representatives, came together to celebrate the start of the new year and Merseyrail’s achievements over the past year.
Sean Styles compered the evening and music was provided by a saxophone ensemble from Archbishop Blanch School.
